Cut out one sourdough bread deep enough to hold the spinach dip but not too deep to cut into the bottom of the loaf. Add the spinach dip and spread evenly. Melt about 1 TBSP of butter and spread over the entire outside of the loaf of bread. Top with shredded cheese and bake at 350° for about 25-30 minutes until cheese is melted and lightly browned. Cut the other loaf into squares for dipping – setup on your favorite platter and enjoy!

This strawberry crunch tres leches cake is a sweet treat with a fruity spin. Fluffy, creamy, and crunchy, this cake is melt-in-your-mouth ahhhh-mazing.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 box strawberry cake mix
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 18 Golden Oreos
  • 1 packet of strawberry Jello

DIRECTIONS:

  • Bake strawberry cake according to instructions on box and let cool for one hour
  • In a bowl, mix together sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and 1 cup of heavy cream
  • Poke holes in top of cooled cake and pour milk mixture over top
  • Let cake soak for at least four hours (the longer the better – preferably overnight!)
  • To make icing, blend 1 cup of heavy cream with sugar and vanilla (it will take some time to get fluffy…if it’s runny, keep blending)
  • Crush Oreos and place in bowl
  • Pour Jello packet into a separate bowl
  • Melt butter and pour half over crushed Oreos and half into Jello powder and mix
  • Combine Oreo mixture and Jello mixture and stir
  • Ice cake and top with Oreo/Jello mixture
  • Enjoy!

  • Mix Cool Whip, pudding, and frosting together in bowl until blended
  • Add strawberry syrup for coloring
  • Crush strawberry wafers and add to mix
  • Pour mixture in cup and top with more strawberry wafers
  • Enjoy with vanilla wafers or strawberries!

  • 1 box of cake mix – any flavor (I used red velvet)
  • 8oz cool whip 
  • 1 egg 
  • Powdered sugar

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 350°
  • Mix all ingredients together in a bowl
  • Drop by spoonful into powdered sugar 
  • Place on cookie sheet (I lined with parchment paper) 
  • Bake at 350° for 12-15 minutes and cool before removing from cookie sheet

Cinnamon Nut Palmiers

These flaky cinnamon-tastic Palmiers are a little sweet, a little nutty, and a whole lotta yummy.

Ingredients:

  • Frozen puff pastry sheets, thawed
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped pecans or walnuts (I used candied pecans)
  • 1/4 cup sugar, divided 
  • 1 large egg 
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 400° 
  • Sprinkle 2 tbsp of sugar on work surface, unfold pastry sheets and roll into 16″x12” rectangle 
  • Whisk together egg and 1 tbsp water, brush the tops of pastry sheet with 1/2 the egg mixture 
  • Combine cinnamon, pecans, and 2 tbsp of sugar and sprinkle over pastry 
  • Starting at each shorter end, roll the pastry up tightly, jelly roll fashion to meet in the center – brush each pastry with remaining egg mixture
  • Cut each roll into 1/2” thick slices and place 2” apart on lightly greased baking sheet 
  • Bake for 10 minutes or until golden
  • Cool cookies for 5 minutes before removing them from baking sheet
  • Cool for an additional 10-15 minutes

Cherry Truffles

A fruity, rich treat for all of your holiday parties! These cherry truffles are creamy and chocolate-y and are sugary with a slightly tart twist.

Ingredients:

  • 8oz cream cheese 
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate morsels, melted
  • 3/4 cup vanilla wafer crumbs
  • 1/4 cup cherry preserves (I used Bonne Maman) 
  • Powdered sugar 

Directions:

  • Beat cream cheese at medium with an electric mixer until fluffy
  • Add in melted chocolate, beating until smooth
  • Stir in cookie crumbs and cherry preserves
  • Cover and chill for one hour
  • Shape mixture into 1” balls and roll into powdered sugar 
  • Store in airtight container in refrigerator or freeze for up to 2 months

Chocolate Chip Cookies

A must-have classic! The chocolate chip cookie is the accountable cookie that always tastes delicious and always feels like home. Make sure you have a good supply of these on-hand for the holidays!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar 
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup melted butter 
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (I swear by Watkins clear vanilla
  • 1 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour 
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda 
  • 4oz milk or semisweet chocolate chunks 
  • 4oz dark chocolate chunks 

Directions:

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the sugars, salt, and butter until a paste has formed
  • Whisk in the egg and vanilla, beating until light ribbons fall off the whisk.
  • Sift in the flour and baking soda, then fold mixture with a spatula (be careful not to over mix) 
  • Fold in the chocolate chunks 
  • Chill dough for 30 minutes 
  • Preheat oven to 350° 
  • Line baking sheet with parchment paper 
  • Scoop dough with ice cream scoop and place on baking sheet 4” apart (2” from edges so cookies can spread evenly) 
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges have started to lightly brown 
  • Let cool completely and enjoy!

  • Freshly scooped pumpkin seeds
  • 1 TBS extra virgin olive oil
  • Seasonings of choice (we used 1/4 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp sea salt, 1/8 tsp black pepper, 1/4 tsp paprika)

Directions:

  • Scoop seeds from pumpkin and place in bowl of water
  • Rinse seeds and let dry (dry overnight for best results)
  • Preheat oven to 350°
  • Toss pumpkin seeds with olive oil and seasonings
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes flipping seeds every 5 minutes
  • Remove from oven and let cool
  • Enjoy alone or as the perfect addition to a charcuterie board!

Hot Cocoa Dip

Hot chocolate is a holiday essential, and this cocoa dip is like heaven in a dish! This is a super easy dessert to make that is sure to please.

Ingredients:

  • Cool Whip
  • Marshmallow crème
  • Chocolate pudding mix
  • Mini marshmallows or crushed candy canes for topping
  • Graham crackers for dipping

Directions:

  • In a bowl, mix Cool Whip and marshmallow crème together
  • Add box of chocolate pudding mix and stir well until thoroughly combined
  • Top with mini marshmallows or crushed candy canes
  • Serve with graham crackers (or favorite crackers or pretzels) and enjoy!

Grinch Punch

Our favorite grumpy, grouchy Grinch is helping us celebrate the holidays with a sweet green punch! Great for after-dinner drinks or dessert, this punch can be made kid or adult-friendly!

Ingredients:

  • Lime flavor sherbet 
  • Green Hawaiian Punch
  • Pineapple juice
  • Sprite
  • Red sugar crystals 
  • Green glitter food coloring
  • Cherries 
  • *add rum, vodka, prosecco, or champagne for a fun adult version!

Directions:

  • Dip rim of glass in cherry juice and then sugar
  • Add a scoop or 2 of lime sherbet to glass
  • Add equal parts punch, juice and soda
  • Add a couple drops of green glitter food coloring and stir well
  • Top with cherries (and add alcohol if desired) and enjoy!

  • Preheat oven to 350°
  • Toss pumpkin seeds with olive oil and seasonings
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes flipping seeds every 5 minutes
  • Remove from oven and let cool
  • Enjoy alone or as the perfect addition to a charcuterie board!

Hot Cocoa Dip

Hot chocolate is a holiday essential, and this cocoa dip is like heaven in a dish! This is a super easy dessert to make that is sure to please.

Ingredients:

  • Cool Whip
  • Marshmallow crème
  • Chocolate pudding mix
  • Mini marshmallows or crushed candy canes for topping
  • Graham crackers for dipping

Directions:

  • In a bowl, mix Cool Whip and marshmallow crème together
  • Add box of chocolate pudding mix and stir well until thoroughly combined
  • Top with mini marshmallows or crushed candy canes
  • Serve with graham crackers (or favorite crackers or pretzels) and enjoy!

Grinch Punch

Our favorite grumpy, grouchy Grinch is helping us celebrate the holidays with a sweet green punch! Great for after-dinner drinks or dessert, this punch can be made kid or adult-friendly!

Ingredients:

  • Lime flavor sherbet 
  • Green Hawaiian Punch
  • Pineapple juice
  • Sprite
  • Red sugar crystals 
  • Green glitter food coloring
  • Cherries 
  • *add rum, vodka, prosecco, or champagne for a fun adult version!

Directions:

  • Dip rim of glass in cherry juice and then sugar
  • Add a scoop or 2 of lime sherbet to glass
  • Add equal parts punch, juice and soda
  • Add a couple drops of green glitter food coloring and stir well
  • Top with cherries (and add alcohol if desired) and enjoy!
