If you’re looking to plan an epic bachelorette party, why not an adults-only trip to Disney?? Kristy celebrated her sister-in-law’s upcoming nuptials with a weekend in the happiest place on Earth and had a blast! She recommends going without kids to Disney at least once in your life, because the experience is so different when you don’t have to worry about the little ones.

Make sure you grab matching magical tees, fun coordinating mouse ears, and, if you really want to get crazy, princess-themed outfits for going out at night!! We all know the bride is royalty, so what better occasion to show off your queenship.

After all of that celebrating, you’re probably going to want a little help recovery. These bachelorette party survival kits make the perfect gift for all the gals! Your bride and bridal party will be as good as new in no time with these essentials.

For a bridal shower, you’re going to want to gift something practical but something the bride wouldn’t necessarily buy for herself. How about this: a mini wine fridge with a customized wine subscription! Who wouldn’t want delicious wines delivered right to their door, especially with all that stress of wedding planning?! Don’t forget your “Miss to Mrs.” banner in case anyone forgot who all those gifts are for.

A “bride” silk robe is a must. Whether she wants to wear it on her wedding day or lounging around her house while she dreams of being the future Mrs., this is one bridal tradition you don’t want to forgo.

Games are a bridal shower must! This ring game is a fun way to get everyone involved and share a few laughs over some healthy competition.

These party favors are perfect for your bridal shower guests! Kiss the miss goodbye with Hershey’s Kisses and champagne lip balm. Pucker up!!

Everyone knows the best parts of Easter are the candy, the egg hunts, and the cute animal-inspired celebrations (bunnies and baby chicks, don’t deny the adorableness). If you are planning on throwing a classroom party for your kiddos – or even just a fun celebration at home – you’re going to want to see these Easter treat ideas! Kristy planned some really creative festivities for her daughter’s class…see her ideas below.

These little treat jars are an adorable way to make a tasty nest for your Peeps! Filled with edible grass and jelly beans, topped with a Peep, and finished off with a pretty sticker, these snacks are perfect for the classroom.

How fun is this green apple-flavored edible grass?? With just the lightest bit of flavor, this is a really creative way to make nests, grass-filled baskets, and more! The grass easily dissolves in your mouth which the kids will love.

If you have kids with allergies in your class, you might want to opt for the (slightly more expensive) allergen-free jelly beans and chocolate candies. If you don’t have to worry about that, M&Ms, Cadbury milk eggs, and any type of jelly bean would work!

These carrot bags are adorable!! Stuff some bags with Cheetos and close off with a green ribbon, and you’ve got your very own Easter treat! This is probably a much-preferred version of carrots for the kids.

For some actual healthy snacks, these fruit skewers topped with Peeps are delicious and nutritious, AND they’re almost to beautiful to eat!!

Egg hunt time! Grab some plastic eggs and fill them with Easter-themed goodies like stamps and mini crayons.

And of course, don’t forget the candy! Throw in a couple chocolate rabbits and Peeps lollipop rings for a sweet surprise.

These burlap bunny bags though!! SO stinkin’ cute!

Fill your burlap bunnies with bubbles, scented dough, puzzles, erasers, scented glue sticks, scented pensscented markers, and candy lip balm!

When all is said and done, the kiddos will be heading home with tummies full of yummy treats, a basket full of fun goodies, heads full of uplifting memories, and hearts full of warm fuzzy feelings.

These gorgeous blues will have you feeling anything but! This shade is a super popular one this spring, so keep your family looking trendy with these pale blues and bright whites.

There’s nothing like a sunny yellow for spring! While the sun shines down on you and your family, you can brighten up any room with these buttery soft shades of yellow.

Bring on the blooms! Pastel purple is balanced with bold florals in this combination…it’s reminiscent of the first budding of crocuses on a warm spring morning.

Hippity hoppity Easter is on its way, along with our favorite bunny bringing treats for all the kiddos! If you know your Easter Bunny could use a little inspiration for basket ideas this year, we’ve got you covered! See our Easter basket inspiration below.

Frugal and Thriving may earn a small commission via affiliate links in this post. See full disclosure here.

A themed bucket filled with your child’s favorite goodies will be a sweet delight for them on Easter morning! This unicorn bucket and this dino bucket can be saved and used for outdoor summer fun, as toy storage in their rooms, or as a special snack bucket in the pantry!

Fill with their favorite candy and toys, bubbles, fun activities like crayons or Play Doh, lip balms, and an Easter-inspired book or two!

Peeps are an Easter must-have (we love these rainbow pops and marshmallow candies), and a cool new toy like Hot Wheels and a how-to book for the holiday is perfect for the little ones!

These interactive smart watches (Spiderman and LOL Surprise) usually retail for $50 EACH, but Kristy was able to grab both for $11!!! If you’re not already part of our Facebook group, join now so you don’t miss out on more awesome deals like these!! And check out our daily deals on our website, too!

“Summer Fun” is an adorable idea for Easter baskets! These float baskets will get the kids excited for pool and beach time when the weather gets warmer, and they can be tailored for any age! This unicorn float (similar) is super cute for a toddler or young girl!

Stuff it with a beach/pool towel, a bathing suit, sunglasses, crafts, bubbles, and candy/snacks!

Here is another one! A flamingo float is another great option for a young girl…pair it up with a tie-dye towel and a pretty striped bathing suit!

Candy, snacks, a bubble blaster, and a princess activity book make this float even more exciting!

This pineapple float (similar) screams summer and it’s ideal for any age! Don’t forget the swimsuit and towel!

Of course, fill it with candy and snacks, bubbles, and an activity pad!

How cute?! This turtle float is just darling for a little boy! Include a beach towel and swim shorts for the ultimate summer package.

For the really young ones, a little candy and some snacks, a fidget popper, and bath crayons make perfect fillers!

For more inspiration, see our Easter basket ideas from last year here and check out our Amazon list of Easter basket fillers here!

Decorating Easter eggs is one of the best parts of celebrating this hoppy springtime holiday (outranked only by the chocolate, of course). And if you love traditional Easter egg dyeing, we see you and we support you!! But for those of you who would like to venture outside of the vinegar and food coloring box, we’ve rounded up some really fun alternative options for decorating those eggs!! See our favorites below.

DIY Clay Ornaments

Kristy made these DIY clay Easter egg ornaments with her daughter last year and we cannot get over how adorable they are! Plus, they’re pretty easy to make and the decorating possibilities are endless. This exciting activity will allow your child to really get hands-on and tap into their creativity.

Ingredients for the dough:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup salt
  • 1/2 cup water

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 250°
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  • Stir together all three ingredients together until a dough forms. Using a rolling pin – roll out your dough until it’s about 1/4” thick
  • Cut out your egg shapes – these cookie cutters are super helpful
  • Place the salt dough Easter eggs on parchment-covered baking sheets. Remember to make a hole in the dough shapes so you can hang the ornaments — a straw works perfectly!
  • Bake at 250° for 2 hours
  • Once baked and fully cooled – it’s painting time!! I used acrylic paint, but you can use spray paint as well!
  • When paint has completely dried, you can use paint pens or even stickers (that’s what we used). I did use a clear coat sealer afterwards to make them last longer and keep the stickers from falling off
  • Use twine or ribbon to hang your beautiful creations
