Decor

Little leprechauns came to spread some St. Patrick’s Day cheer at Kristy’s house and first up was her year-round Christmas tree. Adorned with sparkling shamrocks, glittering green globes, and leprechaun gnomes, this tree is like the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!

The lively leprechauns adorn the mantle as they play peek-a-boo from behind this hand-painted wooden sign. This gorgeous 24″ clock hangs all year long but is definitely worth a mention!!

Bring on the shenanigans! This cute farmhouse-style sign and faux olive tree accented with green beaded garland makes a chic St. Patrick’s Day display.

These sweet wooden shamrocks bring blessings of love and luck. Place a bowl of Hershey Kisses on a lazy susan with these clovers and be ready for whenever you hear “kiss me, I’m Irish!”

If you’ve got kiddos, leave them special St. Patrick’s Day treats from your playful leprechauns. Put a few festive centerpieces on a green and gold tablecloth and decorate with chocolate gold coins, shamrock confetti, and fun St. Patrick’s Day accessories.

St. Patricks’ Day is just a couple of weeks away and we’re ready to eat, drink, and be Irish!! This luck-filled, gold-tinged holiday is not just for the Irish, though. Everyone can get in on the shamrock-themed shenanigans with some fun decorations, cute apparel, and a shimmering green mimosa or two. See our St. Patrick’s Day roundup below and get ready to get lucky!

Christmas Eve night is full of excitement and anticipation, and Kristy’s family has a sweet yearly tradition to make the most of their time spent waiting for Santa and his reindeer to climb down the chimney and leave gifts under the tree. See how they like to celebrate with our version of The Night Before Christmas below.

‘Twas the night before Christmas when one handsome boy and one darling girl, put their most festive clothes on with a prance and a twirl. All decked out in red, cream, and gold, the sweet children were angels and did just as they’re told. In the car and off to Grandma’s they go, for a special visit from Santa, “ho, ho, ho!” After the gifts are exchanged, Mom’s homemade cookies are passed around. Snickerdoodle and thumbprints and toffee abound! Hugs and kisses for all and back home they go, for the night’s far from over, and it’s starting to snow!

Elf Gift Boxes

‘Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house, the kids were searching for elf boxes while the puppies helped browse. The parents sat back with their glasses of wine and appreciated these moments when all was just fine. Goodies were waiting in the boxes to be found, all from their Elf on the Shelf as his way of saying, “Thanks for letting me hang around!” Hello Kitty treats for the girl for she loved the feline so dear, and of course, for the boy, Spiderman was his favorite this year. PJ’s, socks, an ornament, and more, the kids are always delighted with these new treasures to adore.

Milk and Cookie Tray

Once the boxes are found and the cocoa’s been sipped, it’s off to bed for the kiddos for a long night’s kip. The cookies and milk for Santa have been laid out with care, plus some carrots for Rudolph and the reindeer to share. Sweet dreams to everyone, close your eyes and sleep tight. A very merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!!

If you’re getting ready to take your family photo for your annual holiday cards, matching outfits are a must. Whether you plan to get a few shots outdoors at a Christmas tree farm, on the porch in front of the twinkling lights, or inside cozied up next to the warm fire, red, black, and white are classic colors for the holidays that also photograph really well. Walmart has tons of inexpensive options for matching family photo looks. See our style guide below.

Relaxed Crew Sweater | Leggings | Over-the-Knee Boots | Drop Tassel Earrings | Ruffle Dress | Knee High Socks | Slouch Bootie | Hair Ribbon | Hooded Flannel Shirt | Twill Pants | Tucker Boots | Knit Flannel Shirt | Straight Fit Jeans | Mountain Boots | Gold and Diamond Accent Watch

For the ladies of the house, pair a relaxed fit plaid sweater with matching leggings and over-the-knee boots and add a pair of sparkly drop tassel earrings for a casually chic yet totally classy look.

Dress your darling little girl in a ruffle dress with knee high cable knit socks and slouchy booties. Finish the look with a hair ribbon, because nothing says “Happy Holidays” quite like glitter and bows.

For your little boy, a hooded flannel with twill pants and tucker boots is an outdoorsy look that’s also classic Christmas.

Dads, keep it cool with a knit flannel shirt and dark denim styled with mountain boots and a gleaming gold watch for a winter vibe that feels like mountain man meets GQ.
