These patriotic Jello treats can be made kid-friendly for all the little ones to enjoy or they can be turned into an adult version to get the party started!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 box of strawberry Jello
  • 1 box of blue Jello 
  • 1 14oz can of sweetened condensed milk 
  • 2 packets of Knox gelatine 

DIRECTIONS:

  • Follow directions on jello boxes starting with the blue – 1 cup boiling water, add jello to dissolve then add 1 cup of cold water and pour into cups – let settle in fridge for 4 hours
  • The white – dissolve two Knox gelatin packets into 2 cups of boiling water – then add can of condensed milk and stir – add to settled blue gelatin and refrigerate for another 4 hours 
  • Repeat the same process with the red jello – dissolve jello in 1 cup of boiling water and then add 1 cup of cold water and add to your settled jello cups (refrigerate for another 4 hours) 
  • Top with whipped cream and enjoy!!

* For an adult version of these Jello shots, add blue curacao to blue Jello and rum or vodka to the red Jello mix!!

Cupcake Cones

These red, white, and blue cupcake cones are a festive treat for the whole family!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 box waffle cones
  • 1 box white cake mix (will need eggs, oil, and water or milk)
  • Red, white, and blue decorating icings
  • Maraschino cherries

DIRECTIONS:

  • Preheat oven to 350°
  • Mix cake mix in a bowl according to instructions on box (*pro tip: for a richer, fluffier cake, sub milk for water, use melted stick of butter instead of oil, and use 3 eggs)
  • Place waffle cones in cupcake holders in a baking pan
  • Fill cones halfway with cake mix
  • Bake at 350° for 16 minutes
  • Remove from oven and let cool
  • Top cones with red, white, and blue icing
  • Finish with a maraschino cherry and enjoy!

  • Pillsbury pre-cut sugar cookie dough
  • Blueberries
  • Strawberries
  • 8oz cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

DIRECTIONS:

  • Place sugar cookie dough on baking sheet lined with aluminum foil
  • Cook dough according to instructions on packaging
  • Remove from oven and let cool
  • To make cream cheese icing, mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl
  • Spread icing over baked sugar cookie dough
  • Wash and dry strawberries and blueberries, cutting strawberries into slices
  • Top cookie cake with blueberries and strawberries to look like flag
  • Cut into pieces and enjoy!

Deviled Strawberries

These deviled strawberries are a fruity sweet treat for summer!

INGREDIENTS:

  • Strawberries
  • Vanilla icing
  • Blue food coloring
  • Red, white, and blue sprinkles

DIRECTIONS:

  • Wash strawberries and pat dry
  • Cut off strawberry tops and hollow out
  • Add a few drops of blue food coloring to vanilla icing and stir (add more for darker blue color)
  • Spoon icing into hollowed out strawberries until filled to top
  • Top with sprinkles and enjoy!
